In Celebration of MHS Class of 1958

A Tribute and Celebration

We were the class of 1958, members of the Greatest Generation as well as children of the Greatest Generation. Born in 1940, we are also called members of the Traditional Generation.

Our childhood, post World War II, "was the best of times . . . it was the age of wisdom . . . it was the epoch of belief . . .it was the season of Light . . . it was the spring of hope . . . we had everything before us . . .we were all going direct to Heaven . . . ." (A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens.) At least, that's the way I felt about it. We were truly blessed.

MHS GRADUATION 1958 ARTICLE

Now you know that I save everything! Hope you enjoy reading this. We were quite a large class. There was a 2nd page to the article, but it was not saved, for some reason. Double click on the article to make it large enough to see easily.

You must have a rather large filing cabinet and an excellent system. Thanks for sharing the pictures and the memories.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to have more tokens of the past - but two rather vicious women managed to totally eliminate my collection - Betsy (1965) and Katrina (2005).

MA,

So, in addition to painting, sculpture, photography and cooking, you're an archivist, too? Might as well get it out now. What else for crissake?
