In Celebration of MHS Class of 1958

A Tribute and Celebration

We were the class of 1958, members of the Greatest Generation as well as children of the Greatest Generation. Born in 1940, we are also called members of the Traditional Generation.

Our childhood, post World War II, "was the best of times . . . it was the age of wisdom . . . it was the epoch of belief . . .it was the season of Light . . . it was the spring of hope . . . we had everything before us . . .we were all going direct to Heaven . . . ." (A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens.) At least, that's the way I felt about it. We were truly blessed.

Ina Claire Randall Manney, deceased

Ina Claire Manney, 77, passed away Sat. Dec. 23, 2017 at her home in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be held on Tues. Dec. 26, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Graveside Services are 2pm on Wed. Dec. 27, 2017 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mrs. Manney was born in Meridian, MS and has been a resident of Pearl, MS since 1972. She was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS and loved to talk about her faith.
Mrs. Manney is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edwin Manney; daughter, Lyne Nichols (Howard); brother, Robert R. Randall; four grandchildren, Trey Nichols (Lindsey), Shelby Nichols, Robert Manney, J.T. Manney and three great grandchildren, Brayden Nichols, Ledger Nichols and Ellie Claire Mayfield. Mrs. Manney is preceded in death by her son, William Paul Manney; sister, Ann Randall Greene and a brother, Walter J. Randall Jr.

O God our Father, Creator of all the living,
we entrust to Your gentle care
