In Celebration of MHS Class of 1958
A Tribute and Celebration
We were the class of 1958, members of the Greatest Generation as well as children of the Greatest Generation. Born in 1940, we are also called members of the Traditional Generation.
Our childhood, post World War II, "was the best of times . . . it was the age of wisdom . . . it was the epoch of belief . . .it was the season of Light . . . it was the spring of hope . . . we had everything before us . . .we were all going direct to Heaven . . . ." (A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens.) At least, that's the way I felt about it. We were truly blessed.

Thanks for posting, Ouida! What a sweet photo. I guessed everyone except the one on the right.
Okay, I have a guess about three of them. Is someone going to let us know for sure?
I recognize 3 or the 4, but I can't place the 4th one. Help!
This photo was sent to us by David Elliot. One obviously is his lovely wife, Gay Rawlings Elliott. Leila Keeton Martin is the other girl, of course. David gave me the names of the boys, but meanwhile, I think they should step forward and claim themselves.
Message from David Elliott identifying those in photo:
Gay Love doesn’t know I’m doing this..Put on the blog if you like…
Wish we could be there for the reunion..Peewee Warren, Lelia Keeton, Gay Love Rawlings, Mark Harvey..
