In Celebration of MHS Class of 1958

A Tribute and Celebration

We were the class of 1958, members of the Greatest Generation as well as children of the Greatest Generation. Born in 1940, we are also called members of the Traditional Generation.

Our childhood, post World War II, "was the best of times . . . it was the age of wisdom . . . it was the epoch of belief . . .it was the season of Light . . . it was the spring of hope . . . we had everything before us . . .we were all going direct to Heaven . . . ." (A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens.) At least, that's the way I felt about it. We were truly blessed.

MS-FACT: Mississippi - Fighting Animal Cruelty Together

The following is copied directly from MS-FACT website here.

"MS-FACT was formed in 2009 by animal advocates who joined together from across the state to meet in Jackson, MS at the capitol to fight for tougher laws to be passed in Mississippi for cases of animal cruelty, abuse, and neglect to cats and dogs. It is our goal to join forces with affiliate shelters, animal rescues, and other organizations to promote community awareness, support and involvement to put an end to the inhumane practices of puppy mills, dog fighting, cock fighting, and abuse/neglect of cats and dogs by helping pass tougher laws for inhumane treatment in animal cruelty cases. Join us in our mission and be a voice to help the cats and dogs that suffer endlessly that cannot speak for themselves!

"Join Facebook. Join in on our discussions, view cases, photos, and be an advocate to help stop animal cruelty to cats and dogs. Click on the Facebook link and become a member to join our group "Mississippi - Fighting Animal Cruelty Together" and help us make a difference!"
