and then getting up, but y'all will help me, I'm sure.)
We were the class of 1958, members of the Greatest Generation as well as children of the Greatest Generation. Born in 1940, we are also called members of the Traditional Generation.
Our childhood, post World War II, "was the best of times . . . it was the age of wisdom . . . it was the epoch of belief . . .it was the season of Light . . . it was the spring of hope . . . we had everything before us . . .we were all going direct to Heaven . . . ." (A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens.) At least, that's the way I felt about it. We were truly blessed.

Ouida: the outfit is so "you", especially the shoes. You'll the the center of attraction at the reunion, I'm sure.
You are sure to turn heads and set lips wagging! I love the leathers; you'll be ready for a ride on a Harley!
NO SPANX!
Oh, thank you so much. I'm so excited. I failed to mention that it is difficult to raise my right leg that high, but I'm working on it. Also practicing walking in the shoes. We seniors have to watch falling, you know. Nothing like a new outfit to make us feel better, right girls?
Can't wait to see you walk in those shoes. (Still have Ron's walker from his partial hip replacement. Think I should bring it?)
